This year, due to continued rains at the Gainesville Speedway, the Sportsman Classes: Stock, Super Stock, Super Comp, and Super Gas were moved over to Orlando Speedworld. It was a windfall for us, as we were too poor to go to the Gatornationals this year. We got wind that they were going to run in Orlando and showed up. When the police opened the gates, they just let everyone in for NO CHARGE...I take it they didn't want anyone with one of those $50+++ dollar Saturday Gatornats tickets going ballistic. If anyone has been to Bithlo, FL ...the traction usually leaves alot to be desired. Lots of prep from the NHRA Lucas Oil staff helped really put some stick on 3/15/03.
